Are you ready to feel better?

If you are, I can help.  Together we can tackle the struggles you face to get you back to feeling like you again.  My name is Jamie Holland and I am an owner and provider at Coast to Coast Counseling & Wellness.  It is my passion to help you.

About Me

It is my desire to create an experience and treatment outcomes that are different from anything you may have experienced in the past. I have earned multiple advanced practice nursing certificates from the University of Virginia and Old Dominion University with additional specialized training from Harvard University and other expert sources that provide me with many tools at my disposal; to collaboratively create a customized plan to help individuals just like you manage difficult seasons and get back to being themselves.

If you have pursued our page, you may have figured out that my husband, Dr. Danny Holland and I and have four children (Josh, Caleb, Ethan and Alana) and one therapy dog in-training (Rigatoni). We live in the Chix Beach area of Virginia Beach, where “Rig” and our family enjoy all four seasons of beach life!

Ivy league prepared and ready to help you.

It is my passion help individuals just like you to manage difficult seasons and struggles in their life while supporting their overall health. This is typically done through a combination of therapy and medication management.

What I do

It is my goal to take your psychiatric care beyond the norm, leaving you feel heard, supported, and truly cared for.  I have extensive training and many tools at my disposal to collaboratively create a customized plan to help support your goals, helping you feel like yourself again.

What I treat

I know well that no two individuals experience of anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood swings or other difficulties in the same way.  The uniqueness of your experience requires the thorough assessment and personalized innovative approach that together we formulate to help you feel better, faster.

I typically help individuals struggling with symptoms associated with many issues through targeted medication management and innovative therapies and other holistic interventions.  Symptoms may be associated with anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorders, panic, OCD, PTSD, seasonal affective disorder, insomnia, or many other treatable issues.

Who I typically help

I normally treat individuals 8 to 75 years old and beyond.  Typically, initial sessions are face to face and options for telehealth are discussed when appropriate.  Those decisions will be made in collaboration together with you to make sure you are getting the results you want in the way that is best for you.

It is important to note that if your goal is to obtain stimulants or benzodiazepines that you can use daily to support your goals, be prepared explore therapy and solutions other than medication.

Beyond treatment

You may be wondering what I do when I am not fulfilling my passion helping people reach their goals at Coast to Coast Counseling & Wellness. I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Health & Behavioral Sciences at Regent University, serving as the Directors of the Masters in Nursing program, where I train nurses interested in taking their professional life to new levels.  I have also included below more details of my professional and community support efforts if you are interested.

Just know that I am good at what I do.  If you are seeking a strong relationship with an innovative provider who is willing to partner with you to help guide you toward the healing necessary to reach your goals, I would love to have a conversation with you to see how I can join your journey and support you!
